Founded By Kenneth Vaughn Sr in 2009 to help more people in wheelchairs to get into the outdoors and see that anything is possible with the right mindset and a little help. His grandson was injured in 2001 on a 4-wheeler and broke his back. They had been hunting buddies for years and wanted to still get into the outdoors. After years of trying different ways and groups, they were able to find Chairbound Hunters in Wheatland WY. It's a great group dedicated to helping people in wheelchairs hunt. So then the next step was starting a chapter in Utah to help our local individuals. In time we outgrew CBH so in 2014 His son Warren became the president of our own group Chairbound Sportsman. We have continued to grow and help many wonderful people have great experiences in the outdoors and learn that they can still can do the things they love with a little help.
100% of all funds raised go into our program. We are all volunteers.
